eBay's fees and payout rules, on one dated page

Everything this site computes comes from this page. It exists because the web's fee tables disagree with each other — half still print a standard rate eBay no longer charges. Ours is recorded from eBay's own help pages, carries its check date, and keeps a change log. When eBay moves a number, this page moves, and the log says when.

Final value fees — US, sellers without a Store subscription

The percentage applies to the total amount of the sale: item price + shipping charged to the buyer (eBay also counts the sales tax it collects in that total). Plus a per-order fee of $0.30 (orders of $10 or less) or $0.40 (over $10), except where noted.

A new account typically starts at 10 items / $500 per month, set per account and shown in Seller Hub. The 250 free monthly listings do not raise it — eBay's own selling-limit example says so in as many words.

October 21, 2026Dataset first published. All figures recorded from eBay's Selling fees, Payments on hold, and Selling limits pages. Note for the record: the standard most-categories rate stands at 13.6% — the 13.25% figure still printed across the web is the pre-change standard rate, now correct only for coins & paper money and select collectibles.
